This specification covers 80,000 (HSLA-80) and 100,000 (HSLA-100) pounds per square inch (lb/in) high yield strength, age-hardening alloy steel plate, sheet, and coil intended primarily as replacements for steel grades HY-80 and HY-100, respectively, for approved uses in critical structural applications where notch-tough high-strength materials are required.
