MIL MIL-DTL-450D – Coating Compound, Bituminous Solvent Type, Black (for Ammunition)
This specification covers an asphalt compound for coating the surfaces of ammunition cavities prior to filling with explosives. It provides for an additional composition of material suitable for use in areas with specific air pollution regulations (see 6.1 and 6.4).
