ASME PTB-9-2014

This compendium describes each ASME standard referenced in 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 192, 49 CFR Part 193, and 49 CFR Part 195. For each 49 CFR Part the referenced ASMEstandard will be identified and, in the case of ASME B31.8S and certain other ASME standards, the relevanttext will be included in this compendium.

It is intended that the reader of this compendium document will be initially reviewing the federal pipelinesafety regulations and then reviewing the referenced ASME standard. This compendium document hasbeen structured to facilitate this usage pattern.
